Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
2. Remove the wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (See: Wheels and Tires/Service and Repair) .
3. Support the rear axle with a tall jack stand near the shock absorber.
Shock Absorber
4. Remove the upper and lower shock bolts.
5. Remove the shock from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the shock absorber to the vehicle.
