Evaporative Canister Filter: Service and Repair
EVAPORATIVE EMISSION (EVAP) CANISTER FILTER REPLACEMENT
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Clean any debris away that may be present around the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister vent filter cover.
3. Disconnect the fuel fill vent pipe quick connect fitting (1) from the EVAP canister.
4. Using a flat-bladed screwdriver, carefully release the retaining tabs on the EVAP canister filter cover.
5. Remove the EVAP canister filter cover.
