8. Remove the timing chain tensioner bolts.
9. Remove the timing chain tensioner from the engine.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the timing chain tensioner to the engine.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the timing chain tensioner bolts.

Tighten the timing chain tensioner bolts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
3. Remove the tee in the timing chain tensioner to regain tension on the timing chain.
