Removal Procedure

1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair).
2. Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (See: Maintenance/Wheels and Tires/Service and
Repair).
3. Clean all dirt and foreign material from the brake hoses and the brake pipes.
4. Using a backup wrench on the brake pipe fitting, disconnect the brake pipe from the brake hose.
Note: Install a plug or cap in the brake pipe fitting in order to prevent fluid loss and contamination.
5. Disconnect the brake pipe fitting from the brake hose at the frame.
