Colorado 4WD L5-3.5L VIN 6 (2005)
1. Lubricate the inner tie rod threads with a suitable chassis lubricant before installing the outer tie rod.
2. Install the new jam nut to the outer tie rod.
3. Install the outer tie rod to the inner tie rod.
4. Install the outer tie rod to the steering knuckle.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
5. Install the outer tie rod retaining nut.

Tighten the outer tie rod retaining nut on the first pass to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.),

Using the J 36660-A tighten the outer tie rod retaining nut on the second pass to 95°.
6. Install the tire and wheel.
7. Lower the vehicle.
8. Adjust the front toe.
