2007 Chevrolet Colorado (C-190)

Condition

General Motors has decided to implement a recall campaign on the Chevrolet Colorado (C190) mid-size pick up. The screw of the primary piston in the 
brake master cylinder may not have been tightened properly on the vehicles. This may cause the screw to break and damage the seal cup resulting in the
drop of the rear brake performance. However front brake will not be affected by this failure.

Correction

Dealers are to inspect and if necessary replace the Master Cylinder.

Vehicles Involved

Involved are certain 2007 model year Chevrolet Colorado (C-190) vehicles built with the VIN breakpoints shown.

Dealers are to confirm vehicle eligibility prior to beginning repairs by using the GM Vehicle Inquiry System (GMVIS). Not all vehicles within the above
breakpoints may be involved.

For dealers with involved vehicles a listing with involved vehicles containing the complete vehicle identification number customer name and address
information has been prepared and will be provided through the applicable system listed below. Dealers will not have a report available if they have no
involved vehicles currently assigned.
