REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. IMPORTANT: Before cutting out a stationary window, apply a double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces and
the interior trim.
Remove the fixed antenna mast.
2. Open the hood.
3. Remove the window wiper arms.
4. Remove the cowl air inlet grille panel.
5. Pull back the auxiliary weatherstrip (2) in order to access the windshield side reveal moldings.
6. IMPORTANT: Both doors need to be opened.
Remove the windshield side reveal moldings (2).
7. CAUTION:

When working with any type of glass or sheet metal with exposed or rough edges, wear approved safety glasses and gloves in order to
reduce the chance of personal injury.

If broken glass falls into the defroster outlets, it can be blown into the passenger compartment and cause personal injury.
Cover to protect the following parts from broken glass:

Upper dash pad
-
Defroster outlets and A/C outlets
-
Seats and carpeting
