4. Reposition the heater inlet rear hose clamp (3) using the J 38185 - pliers and remove the heater inlet rear hose.
5. Reposition the heater inlet front hose clamp (6) using the J 38185 - pliers and remove the heater inlet front hose.
6. Remove the heater inlet pipe bracket bolts (4).
7. Remove the heater inlet pipe (5).
Installation Procedure
1. Install the heater inlet pipe (5).
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
2. Install the heater inlet pipe bracket bolts (4) and tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).
3. Reposition the heater inlet front hose clamp (6) using the J 38185 - pliers and install the heater inlet front hose.
4. Reposition the heater inlet rear hose clamp (3) using the J 38185 - pliers and install the heater inlet rear hose.
5. Install the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement (2WD 2.9L and 3.7L) () Transmission Replacement (4WD 2.9L and 3.7L) ()
