Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
4. Install the lock bolt and tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).
5. Install the rear brake drums from the vehicle.
6. Install the rear axle housing cover and gasket. Refer to Rear Axle Housing Cover and Gasket Replacement (See: Differential
Assembly/Differential Cover/Service and Repair).
7. Fill the rear axle with fluid. Refer to Differential Oil Replacement (8.0 Inch Axle) (See: Differential Assembly/Fluid - Differential/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement) Differential Oil Replacement (8.6 Inch Axle) (See: Differential Assembly/Fluid - Differential/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement).
