Fuel Pump/Oil Pressure Switch Location
Remove the connector from the oil pressure sender/switch and connect one red clip lead from the J-33431 tester to the TAN(31) wire. Connect the other
red clip to ground. Set the resistance dials of the sender to 0 ohms and then to 90 ohms. The display should show low oil pressure and then all bars lights
up to show high pressure.
1. If the display is correct, install an new oil pressure sender/switch.
2. If the display is not correct, check the TAN(31) wire for high resistance and good connections (no more than 2 ohms). If it is good, replace the
instrument cluster.
