The speedometer is a 36 segment bar graph display and a 2-1/2 digit numerical display.
The vehicle speed sensor (mounted in the transaxle) sends a speed signal to the Engine Control Module, which then sends a signal to the speedometer in
the form of pulses. 4000 pulses equal 1 mile. The speed signal input is processed by the microprocessor and is then used to operate the digital speed and
odometers display.
