Comments may be received about 1988 Beretta, Corsica wiper arm strippage and wipers not wiping the windshield properly.

This can be caused by low nut torque at the wiper arm to linkage joint.

If this condition exists, remove and replace the wiper arms as indicated on the Illustration.

REMOVAL

1.

Turn ignition On, place wiper system in park position, and then turn ignition Off.

2.

Disconnect washer hose from plastic connector (Figure 1).

3.

Remove protective cap (Figure 1).

Lift wiper arm and insert a suitable pin or pop rivet completely through the two holes located next to
pivot of arm (Figure 2).
