Condition:
Owners of some 1991 L Coupe and Sedan models may comment on a wind noise (whistle) coming from the front of the vehicle near the windshield
under normal driving conditions.
Cause:
During assembly of the shroud upper panel to the dash panel, some welds were mislocated and sealer applied incorrectly. This created a narrow opening
between the two panels on the left hand (driver's) side allowing air to pass through and create the wind noise (whistle).
Correction:
Seal opening between shroud upper panel and dash panel using the following procedure:
1.
Remove the left (driver's side) shroud top vent screen using the procedure in the Service Manual.
