Engine Mount: Service and Repair

FRONT MOUNT
Refer to Fig. 1 when performing the following procedure.
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Remove two bolts retaining upper engine mount to body.
3.
Remove bolt retaining upper engine mount to engine bracket.
4.
Raise and support vehicle.
5.
Support the engine.
6.
Remove inner fender shield.
7.
Remove bolt retaining lower engine mount to body.
8.
Remove bolt retaining lower engine mount to engine mount bracket, then remove the mount.
9.
Reverse procedure to install noting the following:
a. Clean threads of all bolts removed. Prior to installation apply a suitable lock compound to bolt threads.
b. Refer to Fig. 1 for torque values.
