Subject:
OPERATION OF THE PASSENGER
SEATBACK RECLINER LOCK ASSEMBLY

Model and Year:
1992 CORSICA SEDANS

Some 1992 "L" car dealer personnel have expressed some concerns regarding operation of the sedan passenger seatback recliner lock assembly. Forward
movement of the passenger seatback has been perceived as a faulty setback recliner lock assembly.

For the 1992 model year, the lock assembly has been redesigned to allow the seatback to fold slightly forward before stopping. This movement is design
intent and does not warrant replacement of the recliner lock assembly.
