TXV

1. Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) and new insulation wrap.
2. Heater core shroud and straps.
3. Heater core cover.

NOTICE: The fittings on the TXV should be leak checked before finishing re-assembly. This can be done without running vehicle.

a. Evacuate and partially recharge A/C system with 0.48 kg (1 lb) R-134a.  
b. Leak test.

4. Floor duct.
5. Steering column filler.
6. Left side insulation panel.
7. Electrical junction box to heater core cover.
8. Right side insulation panel.
9. Console.

10. Enable the SIR system, refer to Enabling the Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) System.  See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding /

Trim/Dash Board / Instrument Panel/Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming/Service and Repair

11. Complete charging the system with R-134a.
12. Performance check system.
