Oil Pan: Service and Repair

CORVETTE

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Raise and support vehicle, then drain oil pan.

3.

Remove engine oil dipstick and tube.

4.

Disconnect idler arm and lower steering linkage.

5.

Remove flywheel splash shield.

6.

Remove oil pan bolts and oil pan.

7.

Reverse procedure to install. Torque oil pan bolts to 80 inch lbs.
