Headlamp Switch: Service and Repair

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Remove left air distribution duct.

3.

Remove instrument cluster to instrument panel attaching screws and pull cluster rearward.

4.

Disconnect speedometer cable and electrical connectors and remove cluster.

5.

Remove two instrument panel to left door pillar attaching screws and pull left side of instrument panel slightly rearward.

6.

Pull switch knob to ``On'' position, depress release button on switch and remove shaft and knob assembly, Fig. 3. Remove bezel nut securing
switch to instrument panel.

7.

Disconnect vacuum hoses from switch and the electrical connector.

8.

Remove light switch from vehicle.

9.

Reverse procedure to install.
