Electronic/Dual Zone Climate Controls

#2 = Temperature Door Motor (RH For Dual Zone Systems)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the upper Instrument Panel (I/P) upper trim pad.

2. Loosen the passenger side window defroster duct from the evaporator and heater core module.

3. Remove the vacuum hose from the actuator.

4. Remove the electrical connector (3) from the motor (2).

5. Remove the two screws retaining the motor (2) to the module (1).

6. Remove the motor from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the motor (2) to the evaporator and heater core module (1).

Tighten the temperature door motor screws to 1.5 N.m (13 lb. in).

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Connect the electrical connector (3) to the motor (2).

3. Connect the vacuum hose to the actuator.

4. Install the passenger side window defroster duct to the evaporator and heater core module.

5. Install the upper I/P upper trim pad.
