Defogger Outlet Duct Replacement (LH Side Window): Installation Procedure

2. Install the side window defogger upper outlet duct.

2.1.

Use a twisting motion to secure the upper duct to the lower duct.

2.2.

Install the push-in retainers.

3. Install the I/P upper trim pad.
4. Install the windshield side garnish molding.

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Defogger Outlet Duct Replacement (RH Side Window): Removal Procedure

1. Remove the windshield side garnish molding.
2. Remove the I/P upper trim pad.
3. Remove the side window defogger upper outlet duct.

3.1.

Remove the push-in retainers.

3.2.

Use a twisting motion to release the upper duct from the lower duct.

4. Remove the side window defogger lower outlet duct.

4.1.

Depress the duct retaining tabs and remove the duct from the passenger SIR bracket.

4.2.

Use a twisting motion to release the upper duct from the windshield defroster duct.
