Monitor (TPM) System (Replace Receiver)

Models:
1997-98 Chevrolet Corvette

Condition

Some customers may comment that the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system and/or the Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) system is inoperative in
temperatures below 18°C (50°F).

Cause

Some remote door/rear compartment receivers were built with an internal component that may be susceptible to cold temperatures.

Correction

Install new remote door/rear compartment receiver, following the procedure in the Service Manual
