5. Replace the tire if the tread or sidewall is snagged deep enough to expose the cord or fabric.
6. Replace the tire if the tire has a bump.
7. Replace the tire if the tire has a bulge.
8. Replace the tire if the tire has a split.
9. Do not replace a tire with slight sidewall indentations. Slight sidewall indentations are normal and should not affect the ride.
10. Replace the tire if the tire has a puncture.
11. Replace the tire if the tire has a cut.
12. Replace the tire if the tire has damage that cannot be correctly repaired because of the size or because of the location of the damage.
P-Metric Sized Tires
Important: It is recommended that new tires should be installed in pairs on the same axle.
Most P-metric tire sizes do not have exact corresponding alphanumeric tire sizes. Replacement tires should be of the same TPC specification number
including the same size, the same load range, and the same construction as those originally installed on the vehicle. Consult a tire dealer if the P-metric
tire must be replaced with other sizes. Tire companies can best recommend the closest match of alphanumeric to P-metric sizes within their own tire
lines.
