Wheel Fastener: Description and Operation
Wheel Lock Nuts
Each 17 inch wheel has one wheel lock nut. The wheel lock nut requires a special took (key) to remove it. This tool is stored in the hold-down sleeve
attached to the inside rear of the center console.
To remove the wheel lock nut perform the following procedure:
1. Remove the wheel nut cap.
2. Install the lock nut key to the wheel lock nut until the key is firmly seated.
3. Use the wheel nut wrench provided with the jack assembly to rotate the key counterclockwise.
4. Remove the wheel lock nut.
