7. Disengage tension and reposition the surge tank inlet hose clamp at the radiator using the J38185.
8. Disconnect the surge tank inlet hose from the radiator.
9. Remove the surge tank inlet hose assembly from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure 

1. Important:  Lubricate the inside diameters of the hoses with clean coolant prior to installation.

Install the surge tank inlet hose assembly to the vehicle.

2. Connect the surge tank inlet hose to the radiator.
3. Disengage tension and reposition the surge tank inlet hose clamp at the radiator using the J38185.
