Corvette V8-6.0L VIN U (2005)
6. Disengage tension on the surge tank outlet hose clamp at the water pump.
7. Disconnect the surge tank outlet hose from the water pump.
8. Using the J38185, disengage the tension on the surge tank outlet hose clamp at the heater pipe assembly.
9. Disconnect the surge tank outlet hose from the heater pipe assembly.
10. Remove the surge tank outlet hose assembly from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Important: Lubricate the inside diameters of the hoses with clean coolant prior to installation.
Install the surge tank outlet hose assembly to the vehicle.
2. Connect the surge tank outlet hose to the heater pipe assembly.
3. Using the J38185, engage tension on the surge tank outlet hose clamp at the heater pipe assembly.
4. Connect the surge tank outlet hose to the water pump.
5. Using the J38185, engage tension on the surge tank outlet hose clamp at the water pump.
