If there isn't sufficient length in the switch wiring harness to allow for disconnecting the electrical connector in the next step, it will be
necessary to fully open (drop down) the compartment door to access and release additional wiring length.

13.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the switch.

14.

Connect the electrical connector to the NEW switch.

15.

Position the new switch to the opening in the compartment door and press into place.

16.

Close the I/P compartment door.
