Power Steering Pump Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV).
2. Remove the Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV) bracket.
3. Remove the power steering fluid reservoir.
4. Remove the power steering pump pulley.
5. Remove the power steering reservoir outlet pipe/hose from the power steering pump.
6. Remove the power steering pressure hose from the power steering pump.
7. Remove the power steering pump mounting bolts (3) from the power steering pump (2).
8. Remove the following components from the power steering pump rear bracket (1):

The power steering pump front bracket (3).
^
The power steering pump (2).
Installation Procedure
1. Install the following components to the power steering pump rear bracket (1):

The power steering pump (2).
^
The power steering pump front bracket (3).
2. Install the power steering pump mounting bolts (4) to the power steering pump (2).
^
Tighten the bolts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the power steering reservoir outlet pipe/hose to the power steering pump.
4. Install the power steering pressure hose to the power steering pump.
5. Install the power steering pump pulley.
6. Install the power steering fluid reservoir.
7. Install the Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV) bracket.
8. Install the Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV).
9. Bleed the power steering system.
