4. Remove the I/P fuse block cover (1).
5. Locate the SDM fuse within the I/P fuse block.
IMPORTANT: With the sensing and diagnostic module (SDM) fuse removed and the ignition in the ON position, the AIR BAG warning indicator
illuminates. This is normal operation and does not indicate a SIR system malfunction.
6. Remove the SDM fuse from the I/P fuse block.
7. Remove the right/passenger sound insulator from the I/P.
8. Locate the I/P module yellow connector just right of console and remove the connector position assurance (CPA) from the vehicle harness yellow
connector.
9. Disconnect the I/P module yellow connector from the vehicle harness yellow connector.
10. Remove both CPAs (1) from the RF/passenger side impact module and seat belt pretensioner yellow connector (3) which is located under the
