5. Use snap ring pliers to remove the spring clip.
6. Remove the bolt.
Installation Procedure
Important: Verify that you have selected a bolt of the proper length.
1. Install the crossmember bolt.
2. Use snap ring pliers to install the spring clip.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install a new nut to the crossmember bolt and tighten the nut with hand tools.
Tighten the nut to 110 N.m (81 lb in).
