Caution:  In order to avoid personal injury or vehicle damage when you repair or replace the carpet, use the same thickness and material size as
the original installation. Always return the carpet to the original location.

1. Position the carpet to the intermediate body panel.
2. Tuck the carpet under the adjoining panels and over the floor carpet.

3. Install the stowage lid bracket.
4. Install the stowage lid extension panel with the manual release cable extending out from under the extension panel. Refer to Folding Top Stowage

5. Close the stowage lid and check the operation of the latch.

Removal Procedure

The intermediate carpet is shaped and form fitted to the rear intermediate body panel and tucked under the adjoining trim panels and over the floor
carpet.

1. Slide the seats forward.
2. Pull the carpet from under the adjoining trim panels.
3. Remove the intermediate carpet.
