Removal Procedure

1. Remove the lift window strut. Refer to Rear Compartment Lift Window Strut Replacement  (See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Trunk / Liftgate/Trunk /

Liftgate Shock / Support/Service and Repair) .

2. Remove the seat belt anchor bolt from the seat.
3. Remove the seat belt escutcheon (1) from the trim panel.
4. Grasp the panel and pull outward disengaging the clips securing the panel from the vehicle.
