Corvette V8-6.2L (2008)
1. Install the camshaft. Refer to Camshaft Installation (6.2L) (See: Service and Repair/Overhaul)Camshaft Installation (7.0L) (See: Service and
Repair/Overhaul) .
2. Align the camshaft sprocket alignment mark in the 6 o'clock position (1).
3. Install the camshaft sprocket and timing chain.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Notice) .
4. Install the camshaft sprocket bolts.
Tighten the camshaft sprocket bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
5. Apply a 5 mm (0.2 in) bead of sealant 20 mm (0.8 in) long to the oil pan to engine block junction. Refer to Sealers, Adhesives, and Lubricants
