Important: DO NOT use any engine oil additives in Corvette engines.
4. Fill the engine with the appropriate amount and type of engine oil. Refer to Approximate Fluid Capacities (See: Maintenance/Service Intervals)
and Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations (See: Maintenance/Service Intervals) .
5. Check the oil level.
6. Install the oil fill cap.
7. Close the hood.
8. Reset the engine oil life monitor. Refer to GM Oil Life System Resetting (See: Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators/Oil Change
Reminder Lamp/Service and Repair) .
