Compressor Pressure Relief Valve Replacement

J 39400-A Halogen Leak Detector
Removal Procedure
1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (See: Service and Repair/Procedures/Refrigerant Recovery and
Recharging) .
2. Remove the RH tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (See: Maintenance/Wheels and Tires/Service and
Repair) .
Important: Cap or tape the open A/C components immediately to prevent system contamination.
3. Remove the high pressure relief valve.
4. Cap or tape the A/C compressor high pressure relief valve port.
Installation Procedure
1. Remove the cap or tape from the A/C compressor high pressure relief valve port.
