Corvette V8-6.2L (2008)
1. Install the sensor to the vehicle.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Notice) .
2. Install the retaining bolts to the inflatable restraint side impact sensor.
Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
3. Install the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side (See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and
Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair) or Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side (See: Body and
Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair) .
4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Air
Bag(s) Arming and Disarming/Service and Repair) .
