Corvette V8-6.2L (2008)
Important: Use NEW transverse spring retainer-to-crossmember bolts.
3. Install the transverse spring retainers and NEW mounting bolts to the crossmember.
Tighten the bolts to 62 N.m (46 lb ft).
4. Install the lower control arm to the rear crossmember. Refer to Rear Axle Lower Control Arm Replacement (See: Control Arm/Service and
Repair/Rear Suspension/Rear Axle Lower Control Arm Replacement) .
5. Remove the J 33432-A .
6. Install the tire and wheel assemblies. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (See: Wheels and Tires/Service and Repair) .
7. If a NEW transverse spring was installed, adjust the rear trim height. Refer to Trim Height Inspection (See: Testing and Inspection/Component
Tests and General Diagnostics/Trim Height Inspection) .
8. Perform a rear wheel alignment. Refer to Wheel Alignment Measurement (See: Alignment/Service and Repair/Wheel Alignment Measurement) .
