9. Install the front transmission oil cooler line bolts.
Tighten the bolts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
10. Inspect the transmission fluid level. Add fluid if necessary. Refer to Transmission Fluid Check (See: Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and
General Diagnostics/Transmission Fluid Check) .

Removal Procedure
1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (See: Maintenance/Service Intervals) .
2. Remove the floor panel tunnel reinforcement. Refer to Floor Panel Tunnel Panel Reinforcement Replacement (See: Body and Frame/Exterior
Moulding / Trim/Underbody Cover/Service and Repair) .
Important:

The front transmission oil cooler (TOC) inlet and outlet lines connect to the rear TOC inlet and outlet lines near the engine starter
motor.
*
Cap or plug the open TOC pipes immediately to prevent system contamination.
3. Disconnect the front TOC inlet and outlet lines from the rear TOC inlet and outlet lines.
Cap or plug the open TOC pipes.
