Transmission Fluid Replacement

Draining Procedure

1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle; ensure that the vehicle is level. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle  (See: Maintenance/Service

Intervals) .

2. Clean away all dirt and debris from the transmission fluid drain plug area.
3. Remove the drain plug.
4. Allow the system to drain.

Filling Procedure

Notice:  Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Notice  (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Component Fastener Tightening
Notice) .

1. Install the transmission fluid drain plug.

Tighten the transmission fluid drain plug to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).
