Disconnect the surge tank outlet hose assembly from the support tabs (1) on the cooling fan shroud.
5. Disengage tension on the surge tank outlet hose clamp (1) at the water pump.
6. Disconnect the surge tank outlet hose (2) from the water pump.
7. Using the J 38185 - Hose Clamp Pliers , disengage the tension on the surge tank outlet hose clamp at the heater pipe assembly.
8. Disconnect the surge tank outlet hose from the heater pipe assembly.
9. Remove the surge tank outlet hose assembly from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
Note: Lubricate the inside diameters of the hoses with clean coolant prior to installation.
