Head Up Display (HUD) Bezel Warped From High Ambient Temperature/UV Rays (Replace Bezel)
Models:
2005-2007 Chevrolet Corvette
Condition
Some customers may comment that the bezel for the Head Up Display (HUD) is warped.
Cause
The bezel may be warping from heat and the sun's UV rays.
Correction
Use care to avoid damage to the head up display (HUD) lens when removing and installing the HUD bezel. The HUD lens is fragile. Failure to carefully
remove/install the bezel can lead to HUD lens damage.
Replace the Head Up Display (HUD) bezel.
Use a plastic trim stick and pry the front (closest to the windshield) inside edge of the bezel up in order to clear the locking tab.
Slide the bezel forward toward the windshield to release it.
Lift up and remove the bezel.
Install the new bezel in the opening and slide it rearward to lock it in place.
