Differential Cooler Pump Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Drain the rear axle. Refer to Lubricant Change.
3. Remove the rear mufflers.

For the left rear muffler, refer to Muffler Replacement - Left Side.

For the right rear muffler, refer to Muffler Replacement - Right Side.

4. Remove the cooler inlet pipe.
5. Remove the cooler outlet pipe.

Important: Note the location of the cover rear bolt/stud for assembly and the alignment of the outshaft of the differential and the input
shaft for the pump.

6. Remove the mounting bolts (3) for the differential cooler pump (4).
7. Remove the differential cooler pump (4).
8. Remove the gasket (1).
