4. Apply a 26 mm (1 in) long bead of weatherstrip adhesive, such as GM Weatherstrip Adhesive Gel - Black, P/N 12345097 (in Canada, P/N

10953479) or the equivalent, to the inner liftgate flange. Use the mark on the masking tape to center the adhesive bead.

5. Remove the masking tape.

6. Reinstall the glass molding.
7. Clean up any excess adhesive with general purpose adhesive cleaner.
