Hydraulic Valve Lash Adjuster Arm Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the intake camshaft. Refer to Intake Camshaft Replacement  (See: Camshaft/Service and Repair/Intake Camshaft Replacement).
2. Remove the exhaust camshaft. Refer to Exhaust Camshaft Replacement  (See: Camshaft/Service and Repair/Exhaust Camshaft Replacement).

Note:  Mind the installation position of the hydraulic valve lash adjuster arms.

3. Remove the 16 hydraulic valve lash adjuster arms (1).

Installation Procedure

Note:  Hydraulic valve lash adjuster arms should be installed in their original position
