Cruze L4-1.4L Turbo (2011)
1. Install NEW system seals. Refer to Air Conditioning System Seal Replacement (See: Coupler HVAC/A/C Coupler O-ring/Service and
Repair/Air Conditioning System Seal Replacement).
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
2. Install air conditioning evaporator thermal expansion valve (3) and the 2 air conditioning evaporator thermal expansion valve bolts (2) and tighten
to 15 Nm (11 lb ft).
3. Install air conditioning evaporator hose (1) to air conditioning evaporator thermal expansion valve (3).
Install and tighten hose bolt to 19 Nm (14 lb ft).
4. Install brake pipes.
5. Evacuate and charge the refrigerant system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (See: Service and Repair/Procedures/Refrigerant
Recovery and Recharging).
6. Leak test the fittings using the GE 39400-A - detector.
