Water Pump: Service and Repair

1.

Disconnect ground cables from batteries.

2.

Drain cooling system.

3.

Loosen drive belts and remove fan and pulley assembly.

4.

Disconnect all hoses from water pump.

5.

Remove alternator bracket, then the power steering pump and air conditioning compressor brackets, if equipped.

6.

Remove water pump attaching screws and the water pump.

7.

Reverse procedure to install.
