The purpose of this bulletin is to update the Engine Oil Capacities for the 3.4L V6 Engine (RPO LNJ) found in the Chevrolet Equinox and Pontiac
Torrent.
The engine oil capacity with an oil filter replacement has been revised to 4.3 L (4.5 qts). The original capacity was 3.8L (4.0 qts). This revision has been
made in the Maintenance and Lubrication, Approximate Fluid Capacities and Engine Mechanical- 3.4L, Engine Mechanical Specifications sections of
SI. This change also applies to the Owners Manual.
