installation of any front brake pads or rear brake shoe material with a performance different from that of the suggested GM replacement parts for this
vehicle may change the intended brake balance of this vehicle.
1. Remove the front brake caliper from the front brake rotor. Do not disconnect the brake hose from the caliper.
2. Remove the front outboard brake pad. Use a screwdriver to disengage the bottoms on the front brake pad from the holes in the front brake caliper
housing.
3. Remove the front inboard brake pad.
4. Replace any corroded caliper bolts, bushings, or sleeves. Do not attempt to polish away any corrosion.
5. Replace any nicked or cut caliper bolt bushings or seals.
