Oil Filter Adapter: Service and Repair
Removal Procedure
1. Raise the vehicle.
2. Position a suitable container to catch the engine oil.
3. Remove the oil filter.
4. Disconnect the engine oil cooler pipes.
5. Remove the oil filter adapter bolts.
6. Remove the oil filter adapter and oil filter adapter gasket.
7. Discard the oil filter adapter gasket.
8. Clean all sealing surfaces.
