Express 1/2 Ton Van V6-4.3L VIN W (1999)
5. Remove the retainer clip (2) and torque converter clutch solenoid (1).
6. Remove the wiring harness bolts and let the wiring harness hang.
7. Remove the manual shift detent spring bolt.
8. Remove the manual shift detent spring assembly.
9. Remove the remaining control valve body bolts.
10. Remove the manual valve link and the control valve body from the transmission case.
11. Remove the accumulator, spacer plate, and gaskets. Refer to Accumulator Assembly, Spacer Plate, and Gaskets.
