Sliding Door Interior Trim Panel: Service and Repair
Sliding Door Trim Panel
Lower
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the sliding side door inside door handle bezel.
2. Remove the sliding side door upper trim panel.
3. Lift up on the sliding side door lower trim panel in order to disengage the retaining tabs from the sliding side door.
4. Remove the sliding side door lower trim panel from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the sliding side door lower trim panel to the vehicle.
2. Align the retaining tabs on the sliding side door lower trim panel with the slots in the door. Lower the trim panel into place.
3. Install the sliding side door upper trim panel.
4. Install the sliding side door inside door handle bezel.
Upper
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Grasp the sliding side door upper trim panel. Pull on the panel in order to disengage the retaining clips.
2. Inspect the sliding side door upper trim panel for broken or missing clips. Replace the clips if needed.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the sliding side door upper trim panel to the vehicle.
2. Align the tabs on the trim panel with the retainers on the door. Press the trim panel into place.
